Promoting self-sufficiency and cultural connections through authentic Syrian cuisine
Syrian Delights is a community-supported business operated by Syrian mothers skilled in preparing the delicacies of several Syrian cities, such as Damascus, Dar’aa, Aleppo and Homs. Launched in 2018 by New York for Syrian Refugees, Syrian Delights was created to empower these exceptional cooks and bakers through employment. The women of Syrian Delights thank you for helping them to achieve their dreams.

New York for Syrian Refugees (NY4SR) is a small, not-for-profit, Albany-based organization established to provide support and help settle roughly 40 Syrian refugee families who came to our community in early 2016. Its mission is primarily to encourage and support self-sufficiency. While NY4SR promotes Syrian Delights and helps cultivate the connection between chefs and customers, all catering proceeds go directly to the chefs of Syrian Delights.
